IFADC Manufacturing Day Tours
Iowa Falls Area Development Corporation worked with local partners to organize a Manufacturing Day tour of four businesses on October 6th. The event coincides with the annual recognition of Manufacturing Month.
The goal was to expose students to career experiences with local manufacturers with the hopes of increasing interest in working for those businesses after they graduate.
Tours included Cargill, POET Biorefining, Metal Tech Industries and Plastic Recycling of Iowa Falls.
Special thanks to Iowa Falls High School, Iowa Valley Community College District and Ellsworth Community College for helping to organize the event.
