Class A CDL Trainee Program

Livestock transportation makes for a great career, and now we’re offering a fully covered path to a Class A CDL License. We’ll invest in your training at no cost, including formal classwork and on-the-road experience. PURPOSE OF POSITION: · To obtain a Class A CDL through Iowa Select Farms CDL Trainee program, which encompasses a combination of classwork, exam preparation, on-the-road training and animal handling experience to gain the skillset needed to be a successful, long-term employee for Iowa Select Farms. BENEFITS/POSITION DETAILS: - All costs associated with the license will be covered by Iowa Select Farms - Includes all formal training, on-the-road experience, exam preparation and scheduling - Competitive hourly pay will start at the beginning of the program and increase once Class A CDL exam is passed - Two sign on bonuses will be paid throughout the program – one when enrolled and the other when the CDL license is obtained - Participants are eligible to enroll in our different benefits programs upon the start of employment MINUMIM REQUIREMENTS: - Must be 18 years of age or older - Have a clean driving record and valid driver’s license - Ability to pass DOT required physical and drug test - Trained and licensed candidates must retain employment with Iowa Select Farms for 18 months after receiving their Class A CDL license.
