Culture

A full calendar of entertainment and cultural activities compliments the recreation opportunities in Iowa Falls. The Iowa Falls Community Theater, Past Time Players, presents two theatrical productions each year. The Iowa Falls High School and Ellsworth Community College also present musical and theatrical productions for the enjoyment of the community. The recently completed Robert W. Barlow Memorial Library offers a variety of literary, musical and research services. Several organizations throughout the community organize annual special events, which attract visitors from all across the state and nation.

The Iowa Falls Historical Society maintains a museum at 320 Stevens Street. The museum contains artifacts relating to the history of Iowa Falls and the surrounding areas. Displays are changed annually and range from antique dolls and toys, kitchen appliances, antique tools, a turn of the century store and many other items. The Society is also restoring the former Illinois Central Depot built in 1902 and the Mills Tower Complex built in 1911 on the East Side of Iowa Falls.
